Goals - to be able to add contacts to a Remit To party so they populate as suggested contacts when creating Disputes. With roughly 70-80% of TL invoices going through Factoring companies, lots of Disputes are created with individuals at Factoring companies and not necessarily the carriers themselves.
Could Navix allow customers to set up Remit To entities as Vendors? Adding a check box ID'ing them as a Remit To and not a Carrier? Or some other flag to show that they are Factoring Companies.
Doing this would allow the ability to add contacts/emails which could aid in the Dispute creation process. This might also improve the Remit To matching if Navix was looking for the established Remit To entities and pulling one from the list. The reporting capabilities for Remit To might be enhanced with this creation as well, but that's still to be flushed out.
@Dave Price the idea is essentially doing disputes with Factoring Companies.... We would really need to treat the Factoring Company as its own entity, as opposed to ALL Remit To locations. We get zero value out of 99.99% of the Remit To's out there that AREN'T a Factor, we would need to somehow "link" up remit-to's to factoring companies.
We've heard feedback from customers that many TMS's have a flag for this and they're able to tell us whether or not a factor was used. I think it's a great idea that has other applications too, but it would be a pretty big lift.
