after approving an invoice in Navix it get sent to our TMS and from there gets sent out to SAP. Our internal process is that we have to keep invoice documents on file for at least 7 years for audits of our financial records. So when approving an invoice in Navix 100% of the time we need to generate an invoice prior to Approving the charges or there is no record of an invoice in SAP. If the invoice is auto created when an EDI charge is ingested it eliminate the human aspect of needing to remember to generate the invoices. This also limits our ability to use the auto approve function because if EDI ingestion meets all of our criteria we still need to jump into each record to generate an invoice.
