Invoice "Hold" Queue

There are several Navix customers who have business rules requiring invoices to be in a certain status in the TMS, or requiring invoices to NOT be in some kind of Hold status. In these cases, the "exceptions" aren't truly an exception where something unexpected happened, the invoices are simply on hold.

We've had to get creative with solutions to try to keep these invoices out of the Audit queue, otherwise users have to constantly keep skipping over them until the load is released.

Additionally, we often see users exporting data to Excel to tell their ops team to release these loads; isolating them in a different queue could help.

The idea is to allow business rules to put an invoice on "Hold" and to have a separate queue (between Audit and Ready to Approve) that is "On Hold".

In the Audit queue, filter out invoices on hold by default. In the Hold queue, on the main grid, show the exception reason/message that tells WHY that invoice is on hold (some customers have multiple types of holds). This keeps these invoices from cluttering up the main queue and centralizes the invoices waiting on ops to update or release the load.
